Initiatives Healthcare (link to website)

Initiatives Healthcare, LLC ("IHL") is located in Boise, Idaho. IHL was concieved in 1997, and founded in 2005 as a hospital management company whose purpose is to provide superior patient focused healthcare. IHL is known for founding and building state-of the-art-facilities which include the University of Utah's Orthopaedic Center and the University of Missouri's Missouri Orthopaedic Institute. Their model is patient focused from ease of access to wellness and health education. Known for putting the "hospitality" in hospitals, they are leaders in the field of innovation in the healthcare industry and receive high marks from patients, physicians and employees.

Healthcare of Florence, Arizona (virtual tour)

The General Hospital was acquired during the first quarter of 2009.  Shortly thereafter, Initiatives Healthcare began renovating the General Hospital which consists of an approximately 90,000 square foot medical facility located on an approximately 9 acre parcel of land.  The renovations include new mechanical, plumbing, medical gas systems, electrical, interior and exterior finishes, fixtures, furniture and equipment throughout the General Hospital.  The renovations are complete and the General Hospital has twenty-three private in-patient beds, thirty-seven semi-private long-term care beds as well as ancillary services including laboratory, pharmacy, emergency room, and imaging equipment, including MRI and CT scanners, mammography, ultrasound and nuclear medicine equipment. The General Hospital will allow for various types of procedures to be performed, including in-patient and outpatient surgery, general medical procedures, and emergency procedures. The Company opened its doors in July of 2010.
